The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services awarded the Georgia Department of Insurance a federal grant to fund a feasibility study related to the creation and operation of a Qualified High Risk Pool in Georgia. Consequently, the Georgia Department of Insurance is seeking to retain an actuarial firm to conduct a study of the costs associated with, and the feasibility of, creating a high-risk pool in Georgia.
The Department has amended the Schedule (set forth at Page 3, Section 1.3.6) to revise the proposed date for Notification and Contract Execution from November 22, 2008 to November 25, 2008. A copy of the amended document is available below.
