Enforcement

The Enforcement Division provides investigative and legal functions for the Department.

Within the Division, the Fraud Unit investigates insurance fraud cases including claims fraud, agent fraud, and unauthorized insurers.

The Legal Unit provides advice and counsel to the Department, and represents the Department of Insurance at administrative hearings regarding insurance, industrial loan and safety fire matters.

Effective August 30, 2010, the Office of Insurance and Safety Fire, Enforcement Division, changed the address for mailing in filings with payments. The new payment mailing address is:
